Possessing a pleasant tartness, the wine Areni of Maran made from local indigenous grape varieties: Areni Noir, Tott and Away that are perfectly Mature and acquire a high sugar content. In the production of wine is used as its own grapes and those purchased from the vineyard and the village of Artabuynk. The combination of crops with different terroir produces wine with interesting organoleptic characteristics. So, the grapes grown on their own plots of company Maran adjacent to the gorge of ARPA river, fills the wine sweetness. And grapes from the gardens of the village Artabuynk harmoniously complements the taste of the wine acidity. The aging of wine in 225-liter oak barrels for at least six months.

About the manufacturer

Истоки винодельни "Маран" уходят в середину XIX века, именно тогда Арютюн, сын Саркиса и Маран, разбил в родном селе Артабуйнк красивый виноградник и назвал его в честь матери. С тех пор весь род стал называться Мараненц, а винодельня, современная история которой ведется с 1991 года, — "Маран". Сегодня хозяйство входит в тройку лидеров по производству вина в легендарной Вайоцдзорской области, исторически являющейся центром винной промышленности Армении. Виноградники компании занимают 15 гектаров.
