"Zebra Hills" Chenin Blanc — dry white wine created from grapes Chenin Blanc, grown in Paarl, one of the best wine regions of South Africa. Located in fertile Agter Paarl area, between Malmesbury and Durbanville, region Peterburg endowed with many qualities for the production of excellent and diverse wines. Vineyards Perdeberg is located at the foot of mount Paardeberg on the slopes which once were grazing many zebras. In honor of these great animals and a range of wines "Zebra Hills".

Tasting Characteristics

The wine has an attractive straw colour.
The wine shows a fresh aroma reveals notes of citrus and tropical fruits.
The wine shows a clean, refreshing taste with citrus and mineral notes and a pleasant acidity in a light aftertaste.
Wine good as an aperitif as well as in combination with pasta, pork, grilled fish, risotto and seafood.

В начале 1940-х годов винные фермеры в регионе Пердеберг выразили недовольство низкими закупочными ценами на выращенный ими виноград. Тогда провинциальный фермер Ян Россов предложил им начать производить свое собственное вино. Так родился винный завод Perdeberg. Первое вино было изготовлено уже в 1942 году. Виноград собирался и отжимался вручную, вина получилось немного, но оно было великолепным и это способствовало дальнейшему развитию винодельни Пердеберг.
