Interesting facts

The wine sector "d'arenberg" are often unusual names. The title "The Sticks and Stones" ("Sticks and stones") have been inspired by an old saying: "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names never hurt me". Also "Sticks" are called cuttings, which are planted grape growers farm on stony soils ("Stones") of vineyards in McLaren Vale.

Wine of intense ruby color.
Interesting bouquet of the wine presents aromas of ripe plum, exotic flowers, dried herbs and spices, laced with hints of earth and tomato leaves.
Complex, deep flavors with bright acidity and fine tannins captures juicy notes of cherry and other red fruits framed by hints of earth, dried herbs, timber and minerals. In the long aftertaste good feeling light hints of spice.
Before use, recommended to decant the wine. The wine goes well with lamb, wild boar and other wild animals, as well as hearty meat dishes.
