"Cantaloro" — a versatile young red wine with berry and spice notes, silky tannins and a pleasant acidity. The wine is made from grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese, which gives to the drink a unique varietal characteristics and unique terroir expression. Wine storage capacity of 5-7 years. Ashleigh Seymour, Avignonesi winemaker of the house, noted that ""Cantaloro" is the epitome of the magnificent terroir of the many vineyards scattered throughout the regions of Montepulciano and Cortona. The created wine in a typical Avignonesi style. The drink is very elegant, clean, complex and delicious."

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is a rich ruby red color.
The aroma of the wine is attractive, is characterized by the rich tones of Mature red fruits, which are underlined by subtle nuances of cedar, rosemary and thyme.
The taste of the wine has fruity notes, among which the prevailing tones of cherry and Cassis, complemented by hints of herbs. The finish is long and smooth, with a pleasant spicy flavor.
The wine can be consumed as an aperitif, it also will make a wonderful couple vegetable dishes, pasta, soups, poultry and fresh cheeses.
