Bandini Villa Pomona, Chianti Classico Riserva, 2009 — it is elegant, velvety, well balanced dry red wine is dark red in color with aromas of spices and wild berries. For the production of wine using the best grapes of Sangiovese. The harvest on the farm takes place in the first half of October. The grapes are harvested by hand. Fermentation and maceration take place at a temperature of 28-30°C. the wine is held in oak barrels for 20 months, then the wine is bottled and further aged for another 6 months.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is a nice red color with hints of garnet.
The aroma of the wine reveals hints of sweet berries combined with spicy notes of menthol and spices.
The taste of the wine is bright and crisp, with hints of ripe red fruit and citrus notes. Long finish — a bit harsh, but pleasant.
Wine sounds good with meat dishes, cheeses, especially Parmesan.
