The grapes are harvested in the morning hours to ensure exceptional freshness. Upon arrival at the winery the berries are left for 96 hours cold maceration at 6°C. the Primary fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26°C lasts for 8 days. Within 15-20 days the must remains in contact with the skins to extract all the flavor and color of the grapes. The wine goes through a cycle of malolactic fermentation in the barrels, and then aged 4 months in French oak barrels of 225 liters.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is dark cherry color with maroon edges.
Aroma high intensity shows notes of ripe black fruits, licorice, lavender. After aeration the wine he acquires the expression, enriched by hints of spices.
The taste of wine surprises with rich fruit tones and silky texture. Well integrated refreshing acidity combined with ripe tannins. Attractive aftertaste leaves hints of toast, cocoa and dried cherries.
Wine can be enjoyed alone or in combination with appetizers, sandwiches, poultry.
