"Catalpa" is an American tree reaching 6 metres in height and has beautiful, fragrant white flowers. In addition to its attractive landscape, the tree produces fruits in the form of pod length about 71 cm, Series of wines "Catalpa" is premium wines created from grapes grown in the UCO valley at an altitude of more than 1,150 meters, and aged from 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is dark ruby color with purple hue.
Clear hints of strawberry, cherry, raspberry, blueberry, gooseberry open clean fruit and berry aroma of the wine. Notes of caramel, rose petals and chocolate gently shade the main tones and give it a complexity and sophistication.
Velvety, smooth taste of the wine has balanced acidity and delicacy. Fruit tones mixed with a touch of oak, spicy notes of roasted almonds and chocolate.
The wine goes well with duck, chicken, lobster, hard cheeses, grilled vegetables and risotto with mushrooms.

About the manufacturer
