Interesting facts

Brunello di Montalcino "Riserva Soldera" is made only from grapes from their own plots of Case Basse. Natural wine fermentation in Slavonian oak barrels without the use of artificial yeasts and without temperature control. Then the wine is aged for a period of up to five years in large Slavonian oak barrels to the newly built cellars, in optimal conditions of storage and several months in bottles.Case Basse farm, located South-West of Montalcino. Here are grown grapes exclusively Sangiovese Grosso, from which the famous Brunello. The vineyards stretch for 23 hectares and is ideally located on a hilly area of origin of the Eocene period at an altitude of 320 meters with South-West exposure. The climate is characterized by dry, Sunny weather. In the 70-ies of XX century this place was not occupied by a tenant and the land was raw, but even in this state it was a beautiful country with exceptionally favorable environmental conditions.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine noble red-ruby color.
In the complex, refined flavors of wine infused tones of violet, soft notes of wild cherry and liquorice, hints of tobacco and dried herbs.
Full-bodied and yet remarkably elegant taste of the wine gradually reveals subtle tones and nuances of a multifaceted palette of flavors. Beautifully structured with excellent balance, the wine has an incredibly long, harmonious finish.
Wine can be enjoyed as a drink alone or with exquisite gourmet cuisine.
