Chateau de Rico produces red wines of very high quality, they go with the name of the Premieres Cotes de Bordeaux and Bordeaux Superieur. The grapes for the red wines after the collection is sorted with the help of special tables. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats. Some varieties in later vintages (post-2007) are pre-cold maceration in oak barrels. Aged red wine Chateau de Rico in oak barrels for 12-18 months.
