Interesting facts

The most famous family ownership Brunet is Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe, which produce the famous Chateauneuf-du-Pape Domaine du Vieux Telegraph "La Crau". Plateau "La Crau" — the main reason for the unique qualities of the local wines, its terroir and microclimate surprising combination with the nature of the sixty-year old vines of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, from which wine is born. By the way, a small part of the "La Crau" is also Claret, Grenache Blanc, Burbulenk and Ruzan, of which make white Chateauneuf. In fact, the uniqueness of wines from Bruno lies in the uniqueness of their vineyards. "La Crau" — only in the Chateauneuf appellation of this size (35 hectares), and only Brun can afford to make wine, using the harvest from a single terroir, not mixing grapes from different areas.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine has a straw yellow colour with greenish reflections.
The wine has a bright floral aroma with dominant notes of honeysuckle and fruity notes of grapefruit, lemon, apricots, pears, hints of honey and beeswax.
The taste of wine is full, lively, generous, complex, fresh, rich and layered, with hints of citrus (lemon, Mandarin), subtle mineral notes and hints of quince, hazelnuts, nougat, almonds.
The wine goes well with fish cooked on the grill, or fish sauce, asparagus, tomato salad with olive oil.
