Deux Montille Soeur-Frere, Meursault "Casse-Tete" AOC

Interesting facts

The appellation of Meursault is located in the heart of the côte de Beaune. Almost 390 hectares here, planted exclusively Chardonnay. It is a fine wine Meursault "Casse-Tete" AOC. The grapes are carefully harvested by hand and subjected to pneumatic compression. Then the must is placed in oak barrels for the implementation of the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Depending on the vintage of the barrels for wine aging (from 5 to 20%) is used for the first time. After this the wine is placed in the steel tanks for further aging, which lasts from 4 to 6 months. Before bottling the wine is subjected to fining and filtration.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine shows a pale yellow color with greenish reflections.
The wine has a lively, refreshing scent with notes of ripe fruit and white flowers.
The taste of wine is fresh, harmonious, elegant. Fruit accents of Apple and pear complemented by floral touches, a balanced combination which develops into a sustained, elegant finish.
This wine will be a good addition to dishes of sea fish, seafood, salads and cheeses. Goes well with white meat and poultry, and is excellent as an aperitif.
