Chardonnay de la Chevaliere, Grande Cuvee is a delicious wine that conveys a wonderful atmosphere of southern France. The grapes for this wine are harvested in late August. In the production of wine used in fermentation for 12 days at 15°C in stainless steel tanks. Wine kept for six months, 15% of the must in oak barrels(French and American), 85% in stainless steel vats. When bottling the wine is practically not filtered to preserve its natural flavor. Storage capacity of this wine is up to 6 years.Monsieur Michel Laroche, the fifth generation of a family of winemakers, is one of the few enthusiasts in the early 1980s years, thanks to the selfless labor which has been revived of quality winemaking in the South of France. The family business Michel Laroche merged in 1967, and in 1995 he founded a modern winery "Mas La Chevaliere", which is perfectly preserved guest house built in the XVIII century. Domain Laroche is located near Beziers, vine scattered throughout the Chablis name as well as in the Languedoc. The soils of the vineyards consist mainly of kimmeridge, which favorably affects the taste characteristics of wines, giving them an excellent minerality subtlety and precision. For the period from the late sixties to the present day Domain Laroche expanded his vineyards from 6 to 100 hectares, of which 30 hectares are classified as premiers CRUs and 6 hectares of Grand CRU. Part of the vineyards are located at fairly high altitude — terraces for both white and red varieties. Climate areas of the South, Sunny, therefore, uses the method of regular irrigation, in order to avoid heat stress for plants and to protect them taste the bitterness, and the fruits — from rigidity. Michel Laroche is not only a successful winemaker but also a great entrepreneur. He gets vineyards outside of France. In 2001 he turned his attention to the New world and in 2006 bought the estate "La Avenir" with 55 hectares of vineyards in the heart of South Africa, near Stellenbosch. This acquisition will expand a great range of wines from the Domain. You can say that the range of produced wines has four "bar": Domaine Laroche (Chablis), Mas La Chevaliere (Languedoc), Punto Alto (Casablanca Valley, Chile) and La Avenir (South America). Tasting Characteristics

Wine of Golden color with bright reflections.
The wine has a soft fruity aroma with hints of tropical fruit, wild honey and sweet spices, especially vanilla.
A wine with a rich and harmonious taste with hints of marzipan, fresh bread with butter and ripe pear. The finish is long.
Wine is recommended as aperitif and as a complement to seafood, shrimp on the grill and soft cheeses.
