Domaine Michel Gros, Nuits-Saint-Georges — dry red wine with a dense palate and a bright, EUROWATERNET aroma. It is created from Pinot Noir grown at four sites in the Northern part of the appellation Nuits-Saint-Georges (Les Athees, Les Lavieres, Les Bas de Combe and La Perriere-Noblet). The harvest took place in late September. The wine was aged for 18 months in oak barrels, of which 30-40% are new (depending on vintage). Before bottling the wine is subjected to stabilization by using egg white (albumin). At the peak of its ripeness, the vintage 2014 will be between 2022 and 2044's.
The wine is light ruby color.
The wine has a pleasant aroma with notes of red fruit (raspberry, cherry), hints of oak.
Taste wine beverages and very seems easy, with lively acidity, silky tannins, elegant texture and a bright crisp finish with hints of cranberry.
The wine goes well with cheeses and various meats — steak, roast, stewed or grilled meats.
