Gevrey-Chambertin "Clos Tamisot", 2011 — a very powerful, rich and complex wine, meet the famous Burgundian style wines. The grapes for making wine are grown on a small vineyard "Clos tamis" in an area of only 1.45 ha. Main vines were planted here in 1922, also has a "young" post-war vineyard, because during the Second world war, the vines were cut to release the land for planting potatoes. The yield of these vines is incredibly low, which allows no more than 5,000 bottles of wine per year. In 2011, it was made only 13 barrels.
The wine is dark red in color.
Powerful aroma of wine is filled with hints of black currant, Creme de Cassis and underbrush.
Taste the wine is rich, full, powerful, with concentrated fruit, balanced with excellent freshness. Intense, ripe black berries complemented by bright hints of spice, nuances of anise, well-integrated wood notes and supple, spicy tannins. In the finish are notes of berry liqueur.
The wine will make a wonderful pair with red meat and game, Mature cheeses.
