Domane Wachau, Riesling Smaragd Classic, charming, beverage, well-balanced wine with a pure expression of fruit and a juicy finish. The famous Wachau region of steep terraced vineyards, special cool climate and pristine soil. Riesling for wine production is in different parts of the Wachau (dürnstein, of Weißenkirchen, Spitz, Rossatz-of Arnsdorf, Mautern). Thus, the Riesling Smaragd classic expresses a characteristic and elegant wine style of the Wachau with plenty of fruit tones. "Smaragd" is a registered trademark of the Association "Vinea Wachau Nobilis Districtus". In the classification of "Smaragd" included complex, rich wines from the Wachau with excellent storage potential. The wine is very accessible to youth, but can also be stored from 3 to 5 years.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is yellow-green in color.
Intense fruity aroma of wine filled with wonderful notes of stone fruit, including wine with notes of peach and hints of melon.

The taste of the wine is intense, powerful but elegant, with clean hints of fruit, perfect balance between acidity and richness, juicy finish.
The wine is recommended to serve chilled (from the refrigerator). It is quite versatile, goes well with grilled fish and fish in a creamy sauce, and baked dishes, boiled beef, grilled meat, poultry or veal.
