One of the latest creations of the famous winemaker Miguel angel de Gregorio of Finca Nueva is, Vendimia — juicy, elegant, delicious wine with a unique character, combining modern "hot" style and restraint that allows you to consume this drink with a wide range of dishes. Harvest for wine making harvested by hand from plots located in the village of Briones, in the North-Western part of the Rioja Alta, and is characterized by limestone soils. The wine is made by traditional vinification, consisting of a 20-day fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Then the wine is aged for months in old oak barrels. La Vendimia from Finca Nueva is one of the best everyday wines of high quality. Decanting before serving is not recommended. Wine storage capacity of 5-7 years.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine has a dark ruby color.
Generous aroma of the wine reveals notes of currant, cherry, BlackBerry, plum and spice.
The wine shows a rounded, silky, balanced taste with pleasant acidity and light spicy nuances in the long finish.
The wine is suited to many dishes, especially stews, veal sauce, young cheeses.
