"Royale" Cabernet Sauvignon — wine, made in a very modern style. The grapes for its creation is grown on very poor soils dense. The vines are carefully trimmed, the grapes are harvested manually at optimum ripeness degree and passed a rigorous selection. Vinification is carried out in small tanks in order to extract the best aromatic and tannins. After the wine Matures 18 months in oak barrels. The wine can be stored up to 10 years, but it can be consumed now after half an hour of decanting.Koyle is a new project Undurraga family, whose roots date back to 1885. In 2006, the brand sold Undurraga and vineyards, but they were not ready to give up wine. Alfonso Undurraga and his sons began to search for new terroir for growing grapes for production of high quality red wines. After traveling and analyzing different valleys and sectors of Chile, they stopped at Los Lingues in the Colchagua valley. Climatic and soil characteristics of the terroir are the key factors in finding the optimal location for the cultivation of vines. Its a beautiful house with a vineyard they called Koyle, in honor of the beautiful, threatened with extinction, indigenous plants. In 2006-2007 Alfonso sons planted 50 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec, Carmenere, Tempranillo, Petit Verdot and Mourvedre, and in 2010, another 30 hectares with Merlot, Cabernet franc, Grenache, Carignano and Sangiovese.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine has bright and intense ruby color.
Wine with a rich and generous aromas of ripe BlackBerry and currant, with hints of herb, mocha and sweet oak.
The taste of wine is fresh, fruity, with good structure, creamy seamless texture with notes of BlackBerry, black currant and vanilla. The finish is medium length, mellow and smooth, with delicate spice.
The wine is harmoniously combined with red meat, lamb, steaks, poultry and Mature cheeses.
