Interesting facts

"Provenance" Chenin Blanc — white wine created from grapes Chenin Blanc, grown on the best sites in Stellenbosch. The harvest was carried out in February. After destemming the berries are soft pressed. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 14 °C for 18 days. Part of the must is fermented in oak barrels after which the wine is aged on the lees in stainless steel vats. Malolactic fermentation was not carried out.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine has an attractive Golden straw color.
The wine shows expressive, fresh aromas dominated by hints of citrus and tropical fruits, almond and white flowers.
The wine shows a soft, silky taste with fruity notes, a pleasant acidity and round tannins in a long finish.
The wine is an excellent aperitif and also perfect with rich seafood, oysters, carpaccio, tofu, Chinese cuisine.
