The first third of the wine farms Chateau Latour called Pauillac de château Latour were produced in 1973 from grapes that are not fit for the second wine of château Latour. Next on the market came vintages 1974 and 1987. Since 1990 Pauillac de château Latour began to be issued annually for its production using crops not coming up for the second wine Les Forts de Latour, and the harvest from the young vines of the vineyard "l'enclos" (Uncle). It is known and tasty wine is a worthy representative of the wines of château Latour.
The color of wine is ruby-purple.
The wine has a sensual, deep scent with notes of black currant and plum, hints of espresso and cedar nuances.
The wine shows rich, full and balanced taste. Gamma fruit complemented by hints of ripe berries and a long finish is filled with nuances of graphite and underbrush.
Wine is a perfect complement to meat dishes and hard cheeses.
