"Orion" — clean, fresh, pleasant wine with a mild flavor and a wonderful persistent finish. The name "Orion" is of Greek origin and comes from the name of the road near the vineyards of Li Veli, the so-called Greek border (Limite dei Greci) which in ancient times was considered a boundary between the area of Langeberg in the North and the area of Byzantine rule in the South-East.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine has deep ruby red color.
Intense fruity aroma of the wine combines hints of spice (nutmeg and cinnamon) and ripe red berries.
Soft, full-bodied, fruity wine has a pronounced acidity, ripe tannins and a long finish.
The wine is perfect for dishes of Italian cuisine, dishes based on tomato paste, meat, game, cheese, pasta.
