Pleasant wine M. A. N., Merlot, created in a classic style has an attractive fruity taste and aroma. It is produced on the basis of Merlot (87%) with the addition of varieties Petit Verdot (9%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (4%). 85% of the grapes comes from vineyards of Paarl and 15% of Stellenbosch. Carefully sorted grapes are separated from the combs and crushed. Initially, the fermentation of the berries produced in stainless steel tanks for 7 days with regular pumping of the wort. After removal of the peel and pressing, the wort is again placed in stainless steel tanks to complete alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. For 12-15 months 15% of the wine Matures in 225 liter barrels of American oak wood second and third year of use. The rest of the wine is aged in steel tanks.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine has deep ruby red color.
The attractive aroma of wine notes red berries in harmony with spicy hints of oak and notes of chocolate.
In a soft, velvety taste of the wine juicy red fruit accompanied by soft tannins. The finish is long and pleasant.
This wine can be used in pure form as an aperitif or digestif. It perfectly complements the taste of lasagna, pizza, barbecue, lamb stew meat, cooked on the grill.
