Red wine Marques de Grinon Syrah 2005 is made from Syrah grapes grown on clay-calcareous soils of the farm Domino de Valdepusa. Fermentation of this young traditional wine took place at a controlled temperature, maceration lasted for about 4 weeks and for wine aging (10 months) was used French oak barrels. So there was a soft and rich wine with silky tannins and strong structure.The wine is made wine complex Domino de Valdepusa owned company Pagos de Familia Marques de Grinon. Dominio de Valdepusa today owns 42 hectares of vineyards. However, at the beginning of its existence, the company had only 14 hectares of land. Over time, the prestige of the winery grew and expanded its territory. Today the key figures of the Dominio de Valdepusa are oenologist Richard Smart and, of course, the owner of the company — don Carlos Falco, by the skills, enthusiasm and technology that wines have received worldwide acclaim. The winery itself is located in a medieval building of the XVII century, which was completely renovated in 1989 and is equipped with modern air conditioning and the latest equipment. For aging wines at Dominio de Valdepusa use 1200 barrels of French oak. The winery produces five wines: 3 of varietal and blended 2, which are exported worldwide.
