Wine line "Onyx" are produced from vintages from the best vineyards of the members of the Union Vinicola del Priorat. About the manufacturer

Vinicola del Priorat — старинный кооператив, история которого началась в 1917 году. Он расположен в городе Гратальопс, в 150 км от Барселоны. Виниколе принадлежат участки в четырех деревнях — Lloar, Gratallops, La Vilella Alta и La Vilella Baixa, которые в 1991 году решили объединить свои силы в одном кооперативе. Общая площадь виноградников составляет 210 га, они распределены на более чем 300 небольших участках во всех деревнях. Кооператив постоянно расширяет свои владения, скупая заброшенные виноградники и развивая местное виноделие. В современном винном погребе производится около миллиона литров вина в год. Помимо вина кооператив занимается еще и производством оливкового масла.
