"Abadia do Seixo" Albarino, Rias Baixas DO — dry white wine made from Albarino grapes grown in the RIAs of Baisas, which is located in the coastal part of the Atlantic ocean in Galicia in Northwest Spain. The mild climate contributes to the slow maturation of the grapes, allowing the grapes to accumulate the maximum flavour and fruit acid. As a result, wines made from this variety have a rich aroma and intense fruit flavors. Vinification is the traditional method for white wines, held with strict temperature control.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is yellow-straw color with greenish tints.
Elegant, fresh aroma of the wine is replete with hints of Apple, grapefruit and white flowers.
The wine has a soft, fresh taste with notes of grapefruit, lemon and herbs, with a mild bitterness and a clean finish.
The wine perfectly complements fish and seafood, pasta, snacks and salads.
