Plantaze, Vranac — dry red wine created from the ancient Montenegrin grape varieties — Vranac, the true origin of which is hidden in the depths of history. This sort of national pride, it is not surprising that 70% of the vineyards are planted with it it. The average age of the vines ranges from 3 to 36 years. The harvest is carried out manually and mechanically in September. At the winery, the berries are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 23-25 °C for 10-12 days. Maceration lasts 10-12 days. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation takes place at controlled temperature. Wine is aged for two years in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Characteristics

Wine of intense ruby color with violet reflections.
The wine shows a complex aroma, which harmoniously interwoven notes of BlackBerry, cherry, underbrush, plum and sweet spices.
The wine has a soft, rounded taste with perfectly balanced tannins and acidity. The finish is long and pleasant.
The wine goes well with meat, game, seasoned cheeses and seafood. In Montenegro Vranac traditionally combine with smoked ham.
