"Poggio al Sale" Bianco Toscana is an elegant wine created from a blend of three grape varieties — Trebbiano, Vermentino and Chardonnay, grown on clay-calcareous soils of Tuscany. After the harvest, which takes place at the time of optimum ripeness, the berries are sent to the winery, where they are subjected to fermentation at a controlled low temperature. Before bottling the wine is filtered.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is light Golden straw color.
Fresh aroma of the wine is replete with notes of pears and white flowers.
The taste of wine is soft, clean, invigorating, with a smooth texture, fruity acidity and mineral tones in a refreshing aftertaste.
Wine is preferable to enjoy alone as an aperitif, as well as in combination with risotto, fish and white meat.
