Dry white wine Riesling Steinriegl Federspiel is made from Riesling grapes grown in the rocky soil of the vineyards of the estate in the Wachau Prager. Mark Federspiel is a sign of quality trademark that can only be used by a member of the Association for the protection of the Wachau wines. According to the quality classification, the term "Federspiel" stands for the average wine category, and is literally translated as "falconry". Have in mind that the wines have a medium body strength by 11.5% and are very colorful, delicate, with elegance of a hunting Falcon. In addition to this category there is also a "Steinfeder" — "Stone feather" — fresh and tangy wine, delicate as a feather and sharp as the grass on the rocky terraces of the Wachau. Style "Smaragd", translated "Emerald", means rich, rich wines, and embodies emerald green lizard, which abounds in the warm sunshine on the stony slopes of the Wachau.
The wine is bright pale yellow.
Very attractive, fresh aroma of wine filled with hints of green Apple and green tomato.
The wine has a strong, fresh taste with a firm yet elegant body and racy acidity.
The wine goes well with boiled or roasted meat (veal, pork, beef or poultry: chicken and fowl), sea and river fish, mussels, oysters and shellfish, Asian cuisine.
