The line of wines "Avo Fausto" dedicated to the founder of the tradition of Quinta das Bageiras — grandfather Fausto Nuno. He passed to the next generations a passion for winemaking, perseverance, efficiency and honesty. He always loved the elegant and fresh wine with soft tannins and low strength, to be able to drink another Cup at dinner.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is a Golden yellow color.
Elegant, fresh aroma of the wine form a thin weave of hints of flowers, citrus fruits, pears, quince, hints of coconut and wax.
Mellow taste of wine is full of tension. Notes of citrus fruits accompanied by nuances of tar, minerals and silicon, creating energy. The perfect balance of freshness, lightness and intensity leads to a long, bright finish.
The wine goes well with braised pork with herbs, grilled chicken, fish in cream sauce.

About the manufacturer

История Марио Сержио Нуно — настоящая история любви к земле и семье. Под его началом в 1989 году было создано хозяйство Quinta das Bageiras, в котором он собрал виноградники нескольких поколений своей семьи, составившие в общей сложности 12 га. В том же году он начал разлив собственного вина в бутылки, поскольку до этого оно продавалось другим производителям региона Байрада оптом на литраж. И сразу же Quinta das Bageiras было отмечено на национальных конкурсах, а сам Марио Сержио Нуно в возрасте 23 лет выиграл вторую "Португальскую национальную премию" как молодой винодел.
