Wine "Conca" Barolo owes its birth a small old vineyard Conca, near the Abbey of the Annunziata, where the Benedictine monks were cultivating vines since the twelfth century. Special soil of blue clay limestone and the unique microclimate ensures the grapes power and a bright flavor. The wine produced from it, has a rich aroma and concentrated, memorable taste. After fermentation the wine is aged in oak barrels for two years. Storage capacity Barolo "Conca" more than 25 years. The 2012 vintage will be at the peak of ripeness in the period from 2018 to 2032.Renato Ratti bought his first vineyard for the production of Barollo in 1965, after returning to Piedmont from Brazil. He also bought a small vineyard in the area marchenasko La Morra in the lands of the former monastery. Since 1969, the management of the campaign joined nephew Renato — Massimo Martinelli, who is also the winemaker. Together with him, Ratti developed a technique of maturing Barolo, to get a more subtle, elegant wine with good aging potential. This was an innovation in the field of winemaking. The wine is deep garnet-red color.

The taste of wine is full bodied, rich, dense, with silky, well-balanced tannins and lively acidity. Shades of cherry, earth, red fruits and minerals complemented by spicy nuances of mint and bitumen. The finish is bright and fresh.
