"Rio de la Luna" Gran Reserva Syrah, Valdepenas DO — dry red wine from grapes Syrah, kultivirana in the oldest wine region of valdepeñas. Here a continental climate, limestone soil and low rainfall. The vineyards on the slopes of the mountains protected from the wind and constantly give high quality crops. The wine is produced from selected grapes using traditional vinification and maceration and subsequent aging for 18 months in oak barrels and 36 months in bottle. The wine produced by the winery Bodegas J. Ramirez, in cooperation with the company Bodegas Parra Blanca.
The color of the wine is an opaque cherry.
The aroma of wine is intense, generous, with notes of dried cherries, spice, oak and chocolate.
Taste the wine is round, juicy, balanced, with high acidity, elegant tannins and a smooth finish with a light tartness.
