Santa Margherita, Pinot Grigio — a fresh, harmonious white wine, showing intense, clean flavor and a dry, balanced taste. In the production of wine grapes used Pinot Grigio, grown in the vineyards in the area of Valle Dell'adige. The winery Santa Margherita was the first who started to use this grape with reddish skins to create white wines. After harvest, the berries are soft pressed followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature of 18 °C for 10-15 days. Before bottling the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 15-16 °C.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is straw-yellow in color.
A little shy aroma of the wine opens with notes of quince and Apple varieties of Golden. Gradually he gains strength and becomes more complex with hints of citrus fruit and minerals.
Lively, fresh and harmonious wines with a pronounced fruity flavor has a subtle sweetness and moderate acidity. The finish is soft, ends with a tart touch of lemon zest.
Wine is a great aperitif. Also it is excellent with seafood, fish, salads, pasta, white meat and shellfish.
