Wine "Sosso", produced Livio Felluga winery in 1989, it was named for the stream flowing at the foot of the hill, where the oldest vineyards in Rosazzo. That they are grown, the grape varieties Merlot, Refosco and Pignola for "Sosso". Merlot is harvested by hand in late September, the rest of the grapes a little later — in early October. With great courage, he restored the old vineyards and plant, introducing innovative ideas and new technologies. It was hard work, but perseverance and passion Livio Felluga helped him to create one of the most impressive wine centres of Friuli, earning a well-recognized reputation.Today, the Livio Felluga is the largest in area (135 hectares of vineyards) and most prestigious company in Friuli. Tasting Characteristics

The color of the wine is full bodied, ruby red, almost impenetrable.
The wine has a very complex, fleshy, fresh, fruity aroma with notes of ripe plums, cherries, currants, blackberries, raspberries and blueberries, with intense hints of spices and minerals.
The taste of wine is well structured, fresh, velvety, with firm tannins, balanced acidity, mineral, balsamic and fruity tones, hints of mint, clove, white pepper, cocoa and spices. A long aftertaste.
The wine goes well with red meat, grilled meat, game, cheese.
