The wine "Unico" Cerasuolo d'abruzzo is made from grapes of Montepulciano d'abruzzo. The origin of this variety is very doubtful. There have been suggestions that this is the kind of Sangiovese, but then it became clear that there is nothing in common between these two varieties of grapes not. Grapes are grown mainly in Abruzzo and other areas of southern Italy. Today, thanks to the diligence of producers, Montepulciano d'abruzzo has become very popular and is equivalent to the red grape varieties of the highest quality.
The wine is bright cherry-pink color.
Persistent fruity wine with dominant notes of cherry and strawberry nuances decorated flowers, Mandarin and a delicate salty notes.
Well-structured palate of the wine is striking in its persistence, surprising for this wine. Juicy acidity and a pleasant minerality brightens fruit palette.
The wine will perfectly accompany fish soups, grilled fish and white meat, pizza, meatballs of veal in sauce of fresh yoghurt with the curry.
