Brunello di Montalcino goes well with a variety of complex dishes due to its refined and elegant taste, and has good storage potential.Brunello di Montalcino, 2013 should be stored in a cool cellar at a constant temperature, in the dark, in a horizontal position, sources of noise and odor. The wine has a beautiful, long storage potential, but to use it it is recommended that in 2018 — by which time the tannic structure is softened and rounded.
The wine shows a deep ruby-cherry color.
The wine is rich in flavor, dominant notes of cherry, plum, wild rose, Cola, spice and smoke.
The taste of the wine is generous, round, velvety, with notes of cherry, leather, iron and tobacco, with a tannic texture and a long, seductive finish.
The wine goes well with dishes of meat and any kind of venison with complex sauces, meat dishes, Italian cuisine (on request, accompanied by mushrooms and truffles) and cheese (Tuscan Pecorino, Parmigiano Reggiano, Pecorino).
