Wine "Karasi" is a tribute to the great wine tradition of Armenia, which has 6200 years, as well as the grape variety Areni Noir, which wine has the authentic national spirit. The uniqueness of the wine "Karas" is a harmonious Union of modern style and features one of the world's oldest grape varieties. The name of the wine, meaning "from amphora", indicates a method of aging wine. Interestingly, clay amphorae for aging in 20% dug in the ground.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine has deep ruby color.
Complex aroma of the wine reveals notes of red fruits, with light hints of spice, toast and vanilla.
The taste of wine is elegant, full, soft, well balanced and structured, with silky ripe tannins, notes of red fruits and a long, well-developed aftertaste.
This wine is perfect for hearty meat dishes such as lamb, duck, hare and braised meats. Excellent accompaniment to Mature cheeses.
