A blend of white wine "Masianco" is composed of 2 grape varieties: Pinot Grigio and Verduzzo, cultivated in the vineyard "Strà del Milione" in the Friuli region. Pinot Grigio grapes are harvested in late August and immediately fermented at a temperature of 10-15ºC for 25 days. Variety Verduzzo, harvested in late September, dried in the open air for 3 weeks, with the result that it increases the fruit, then the dried grapes are pressed gently and fermented in steel tanks. Wine kept for 3 months: Pinot Grigio — in steel tanks and vendutstso — in oak barriques. The name of the winery comes from the name of the first vineyard "Vaio dei Masi" — "Masi Little valley", acquired by the family Boskaini in 1772. Buying new sites in the classic area of Bardolino, Valpolicella and Soave, the company gradually increased the volume of wine production, improving its quality. In the production of modern high-quality wines at the winery Masi uses only local grape varieties. The winery uses the traditional approach in the production of wines based on combination of respect for the terroir and the latest technology. Wines are produced in traditional ways, with techniques of "appassimento" and double fermentation.The total area of vineyards Masi is 160 hectares 17 vineyards located in the classic Valpolicella area and 8 vineyards in Bardolino and Soave. Ointment in parallel collaborates with the Serego Alighieri family, descendants of Dante, owning vineyards in Gargagnago in 1353, with the Argentina Masi Tupungato and the count's family Bossi Fedrigotti, the family vineyards which is located on the banks of the river Adige.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is straw-yellow in color.
The aroma of wine is dominated by tones of pineapple, banana, acacia flowers and honey.
The wine has a creamy taste, which is successfully combined with floral and citrus freshness. In the aftertaste bitter traced light aromas of almond, hazelnut, honey.
The wine is excellent as an aperitif, it is recommended to serve with white meat dishes, appetizers and seafood.
