"Poggio ai Ginepri" Rosato — rose dry Tuscan wine, with notes of red berries and wild rose petals. The wine is created from grapes Syrah (30%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), collected from the best vineyards of Bolgheri DOC.Winter in 2011 was unusually long and was accompanied by low temperature performance. It was replaced by a rainy, cool spring. Only in June was significantly warmer, with temperatures reaching an average of 22°C. All summer, accompanied by heat, which peaked in late August (35° C). Such climatic conditions have led to early harvest, which started on 27 August. Beautiful Sunny weather with light winds allowed the grapes to reach optimum maturity, form excellent balance of sugar and aromatic bouquet.Each of the grapes vinified separately in stainless steel vats at a strictly controlled temperature conditions. The wine is then blended and bottled. The estate of Tenuta Argentiera, located on the Maremma coast in Tuscany, South of the border a small but prestigious Bolgheri DOC, belongs to the influential Florentine family Serristori, received it as a property of the family de ' Medici. The wine is bright pink in color.
The aroma of wine is filled with fresh fruity notes and hints of red berries, dominated by cherries, strawberries and ripe raspberries.
Well-balanced wine with a charming taste which reveals notes of red berries and delicate hints of rose hips, which are nice, long fruity finish.
Wine suitable as an aperitif, but also make an excellent combination with light snacks.
