In the manufacture of wine "Chateau Chevaliers Lagrezette" Malbec uses three varieties of grapes which are collected and sorted by hand — the dominant Malbec in the blend with Merlot and Tannat. Created wine from the harvest of 15-year-old vines, which are grown in the beautiful vineyards of the Cahors region. Each of the varieties beneficiries separately, and is followed first by a phase of cold maceration during 4 days at 12°C, after which the wine is fermented in neutral vessels at 30°C. the wine is Aged in new oak barrels for 12-15 months. Due to the peculiarities of the terroir and production technologies, Chateau Chevaliers Lagrezette Malbec can develop for 5-10 years.The estate vineyards Chateau Lagrezette trace their history back to the XV century.
