They also own the vineyards of Ducru-Beaucaillou and Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste.Chateau Haut-Batailley. is located in Palace and has long been famous for its simple, open wines, characterized by pronounced hints of black currant. Clean and fresh elegance of these wines every year is gaining more and more fans. Chateau Haut-Batailley as an independent brand exist in the ranks of the famous Bordeaux Chateau recently. But the history of Chateau Batailley, as part of which it existed earlier, more than a century and is one of the largest farms in the subregion of Pauillac. In the XVIII century the estate was the property of St. Merten. The vineyards of château — 22 hectares of land in the southern part of the region of Pauillac, near Saint-Julien — planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet franc.
