The grapes for the production of white wine "Chateau Lafont Menaut" assembled by hand, is the breeding and subjected to a soft press. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine is aged for 9 months in oak barrels (25% of them new). The soils of this area rich in gravel. The area of the vineyard is 14 hectares, of which 3 hectares are used for growing white grapes and 11 for the Reds. The average age of the vines — 18 years. Wine 2013 vintage has a good ageing potential, acquiring over the years the intensity and generosity of flavor.
The wine is a Golden straw color.
The aroma of the wine is exquisite and delicate, fruity palette embellished with hints of lemon, orange, nuances of white flowers and touches of undergrowth.
Elegant, pleasant wine with a harmonious, robust and fruity taste, bright notes of citrus and wood accents. A long, fresh finish with light floral touches.
Wine will be an excellent couple of fish dishes, shellfish and spicy dishes.
