Delicious wine Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Morgeot" from Domain Bernard Dugas-PI is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in Burgundy the vineyard of Montrachet Premier Cru, located near the village of Chassagne. The name "Montrachet" was attached to the name of the village of Chassagne later as the famous Montrachet vineyard lies partly in its territory. Chassagne name means "landscape with oaks" and Montrachet — "naked mountain". Favorable combination of natural factors — climate polusredizemnomorsky, limestone and clay soils with stony subsoils, southwest-facing slopes, allowed to grow amazing grapes and to one of the great white wines of Burgundy. The average age of the vines from which the remarkable cuvée Chassagne-Montrachet, is 65. Wine is not subjected to filtration and purification, vinification is made without a single intervention, so Burgundy were clean, colorful and seductive. The wine is aged for 18-20 months in new oak barrels. The annual production capacity is only 700-900 bottles. The wine Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Morgeot" — long-term storage, but it can be consumed young, it is only necessary to decant a few hours before serving.Family wine estate of Domaine Dugat-Py is located in the wine village of Gevrey-Chambertin, close to the Church, built in the XI century in the basement where is located wine cellar management. The name of the estate was given in 1994 by joining the names of Bernard Dugas maiden name of his wife Jocelyne PI. The command of the famous Domaine Dugat-Py are Bernard Dugas, his wife Jocelyne, and in 1996 they were joined by son loïc, working side by side with parents and in the vineyards and in the wine cellars.
