White wine Meursault "Clos de Mazeray" from Domaine Jacques Prieur is made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the vineyard, which is a private monopoly of the economy. The vineyard, surrounded by an old stone wall, located on the outskirts of the village of Meursault on the site of an ancient river bed on the clay-limestone soil. The vineyard was created by the hands of monks from the monastery of Citeaux, located nearby. Since ancient times, are produced excellent red and white wines.
