Domaine Tinel-Blondelet, Sancerre Blanc — white wine from the Loire valley. Grapes Sauvignon Blanc to make this wine are grown in three kilometers from the village of Sancerre, in the estate of Domaine La Croix Canat. Vines older than 40 years grow in siliceous-limestone soil. After harvest, the grape juice is pressed with a pneumatic press, and drains into vats for fermentation, located on the floor below. Wort fermentation and maturation of wines take place in temperature controlled stainless steel vats. Aging wine on the fine lees for 6-8 months allows us to give a taste of the wine volume and saturation.

Tasting Characteristics

Wine clean Golden color with greenish reflections.
The aroma of the wine is woven from shades of lemon, Apple, mint, fern, Apple blossoms, and mineral notes of crushed oyster shells.
The taste of the wine captivates with impeccable balance and freshness. Lively acidity supported by hints of lemon, grapefruit and orange peel.
The wine served as an aperitif, with seafood, goat cheese.
