"Arte" — red dry wine from grapes of Nebbiolo (90%) and Barbera (10%), grown in the vineyards of Ginestra, Pajana and Mosconi. 20-year-old vines of Nebbiolo and 40-year-old Barbera, grown on mineral-rich soils, yields are about 5,500 kg per hectare. The grapes are harvested by hand in the first half of October, when the berries reach optimum ripeness. Each variety beneficiries separately. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration takes 12-14 days Nebbiolo, Barbera fermentation process lasts 10-12 days. Wine Matures in new French barriques for 16-18 months. The wine has a long storage capacity and capable of a long time to develop in the bottle.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is purple-violet color.
The wine aroma is composed of notes of ripe red berry fruit and nuances of rose, candied cherry jam, flowers white tobacco, roasted coffee beans, washed leather and vanilla.
Powerful, fresh, round wine with a full body, balanced fruit flavors and a long, spicy finish with notes of black berries.
The wine will make a wonderful pair with traditional dishes of Piedmont. It will emphasize the great taste of duck, pork steak, risotto with white truffle and various meat dishes. Wine can also offer a Mature hard cheese such as Parmesan.
