ECT! EST!! EST!!! — this unusual name of this wine from Lazio got back in the XII century. According to legend, Bishop Giovanni Deuk, who accompanied the Emperor Henry V in one of his trips to Italy, sent in the direction of Montefiascone ahead of the Royal train of his page Martino to the one heralded the arrival of the monarch, and found a hotel serving good wine. All these places Martino have been celebrated with the help of inscriptions Est! on the door. However, the wine in Montefiascone was so great that one Est! for him wasn't enough, so page three wrote that word and put three exclamation points after the last of them.
The wine shows a straw-Golden color.
The wine has a complex aroma reveals notes of minerals, peach, pear and melon.
The taste of the wine is soft, balanced, elegant, with a smooth texture, fruity with mineral accents and a subtle sourness in the refreshing aftertaste.
The wine is perfect as an aperitif, also goes well with sushi, sashimi, soups, seafood and oven baked vegetables.
