Elegant, aromatic, rich wine Brouilly, 2012 winemakers created Domain Fessy from Gamay grapes. It is very famous and popular variety grown in southern part of Beaujolais. Most popular varieties due to its expressive fruit characteristics, good concentration and a wonderful aroma. As a result, it is an excellent wine with an elegant aroma filled with notes of red cherries, strawberries, currants, and harmonious taste with hints of red and dark berries and silky tannins. Soil of the vineyard, a total area of 7.5 hectares, mainly granite, with an admixture of shale. The combination of rock, hilly terrain, good exposure and excellent quality of the soil is the main components of the exceptional terroir of Beaujolais. The average age of the vines in the vineyard — about 50 years. Density of planting — 10 000 per hectare. Yields are 40-50 HL/ha Vinification — traditional, at controlled temperature.The history of Henry Fessy Domain began in 1888, when the family Profession settled in the heart of the appellation Buyi. Today the vineyards of the Domain of Fessy occupy 70 hectares in the top 10 appellations of France. Basically, there are growing quite old vines, whose average age is about 50 years. The harvest is done only manually. Vinification is carried out using traditional methods. Philosophy of the economy — the production of wines, which reflects the unique terroir. In 2008 the company was acquired by Louis Latour is one of the best merchant houses of Burgundy, and in 2010 at the international exhibition International Wine Challenge Domain of Fessy was awarded the title of "Best producer of Beaujolais".
