"Campo al Fico", Bolgheri Superiore DOC — red wine, in the manufacture of which winemakers are using grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet franc. The fruit grows in the vineyards of Bolgheri. The harvest is hand picked from September to October, the winery the grapes are subjected to spontaneous fermentation in steel tanks. Maceration lasts 20 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Wine is aged 20 months in barriques of French oak. The annual production capacity is 3000 bottles. The potential of wine is 5-10 years.
The wine has a dark ruby red color.
The wine is a multifaceted, expressive aroma with notes of BlackBerry, blueberry, black currant, cherry, underbrush, spice and black pepper.
The wine is full, generous, rich palate with a silky texture, rounded tannins and a long, fruity aftertaste.
The wine goes well with red meat, game and Mature cheeses.
