"Le Grand Noir" line of wines, named in honor of the Cathars (priests) who wore only black garments, and lived until the beginning of XVII century on the territory of present vineyards. The priests believed that people, regardless of their status and importance, should be humble before God ("lamb of God"). As winemaker R. Joseph likes to stand out among all, he came up with the idea to put on the labels of this line namely black sheep ("black sheep"). Wine to fully reveal the character and potential of the local terroir.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine is ruby-garnet color.
The wine has expressive aromas dominated by hints of juicy dark berries, olives, spices and herbs.
The wine shows a round, fruity with balanced acidity and light hints of spices in the dry finish.
