Interesting facts

Large vineyard with Negramaro, located next to the winery Li Veli, surrounded by large pine trees, just beside a forest called "Passamante". The reason for this name is that in the past, assignation, especially if it was a ban, use this forest. It began to be called "the forest lovers" or "lovers pass" ("pass" — pass, "amante" lover). The grapes for wine "Passanante" harvested by hand in small boxes, and then carefully moved and pressed. The fermentation process takes place under strict control. Temperature ranges from 27 to 31°C to preserve the varietal color, taste and aroma. After alcoholic fermentation the wine is poured into French oak barrels, in which the process of malolactic fermentation. In conclusion, a thorough wine tasting, after which it is aged for 6 months in 225-liter barrels. The potential for wine storage is 5 years.House Li Veli (Veli Li) is located in the South-West of Italy, in Puglia — the "heel" of the famous Italian "boot". Apulia is the largest wine region of Italy. In 1999, the family favlo (former owners of farms "Avignonesi" in Tuscany) bought 128 acres of land in the heart of Salentino. An area of 35 hectares was filled with autochthonous grape varieties such as Primitivo and Negramaro that produce inky wine with gorgeous elegant character. Through proper management of the winemaking process, the company "Li Veli" set a new standard of quality wines from Puglia. When planting vineyards in Li Veli uses the scheme Settonce (name, likely due to 7 points, "sette" with it. The wine is ruby red color with purple rim.
The aroma of wine is filled with tones of ripe cherry and raspberry shaded with hints of pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange peel.
Full-bodied taste of the wine has smooth texture, well-integrated acidity, rich tannins, creating a balanced taste of unique complexity, which is filled with notes of fruit, berries, herbs and spices.
The wine goes well with grilled meat, pizza, pasta, vegetable soups and cheese.
