Interesting facts

Red wine Cotes du Vivarais — a blend of two grape varieties: Grenache and Syrah, which are grown in the same appellation of the rhône Valley. The vineyard is located in the North-West region of the Cotes du Rhone in the commune of Arnac and produces fine wines of superior quality. After harvest, the berries undergo maceration and slow fermentation at a low temperature of 15 °C. Fragrant and fruity wine perfectly reflects its terroir, offering a fresh, slightly spicy bouquet and a berry flavor with a pleasant acidity.

Tasting Characteristics

The wine has an attractive cherry-garnet color.
The wine shows an elegant, complex aroma with hints of BlackBerry. cherry, black currant, underbrush, vanilla and spice.
The taste of the wine is soft, harmonious, rounded, with a silky texture, hints of dark berries and fruits, with a pleasant acidity and fine-grained tannins on the long finish.
Wine is an excellent aperitif, also goes well with white and red meats in sauce, barbecue, spicy dishes and summer salads.

About the manufacturer

Mas de Bagnols является семейной собственностью двух виноделов: Марии и Пьера Мольер — виноделами, которые управляют своими виноградниками в городе Винзак (небольшой деревне в южной части Ардеш). На виноградниках площадью 600 га произрастают виноградные лозы, ягоды которых используют для производства белых (Шардоне, Гренаш Блан, Марсан и Русан), красных и розовых (Сира и Гренаш, которые смешивают с сортами Сенсо и Кариньян в количестве не более 10%) вин, а также кюве Марджори (Каберне Совиньон, Мерло). Виноделы, чья продукция и качественный труд широко известны, являются представителями интеграции ведомственной Федерации независимых виноградарей из Ардеш. А также считаются членами ассоциации "Vignerons et Patrimoines", деятельность которой направлена на усовершенствование виноделия и производства качественных вин с демонстрацией уважения к земле и истории.
